Doug Meppelink was born and raised in Massachusetts and is a big New England Patriots fan. For undergraduate degree, he studied History and Biblical Studies at Grove City College and is currently working toward a Masters of Divinity degree at Princeton Theological Seminary. He’s very excited to work with the families and youth at Pearson Memorial; it is his goal to one day become a youth pastor. Besides watching the best football team ever, he enjoys superhero movies, working-out, and drinking great coffee. He's excited about what God has planned at Pearson!
Michael Reed was born in California, but spent most of his growing-up years in Ottawa, Canada. Michael served as a youth pastor in Ottawa for three years, and afterwards did community development work for the UM Church for All People in Columbus, Ohio. Michael is passionate about the strange and wonderful world of the Bible, and finding and following where God is at work today. He has a Masters degree in Biblical Studies from the University of Edinburgh, and is currently working on his Master of Divinity degree at Princeton Theological Seminary. Michael is a Licensed Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church. He and his wife Elena are huge baseball fans.
Gloria has done a little bit of everything during her 30+ years at Pearson Memorial. She serves as the administrative assistant for the church, and also heads up the F.R.O.G.s ministry. She and her husband Jim are Pennsylvania transplants, and enjoy spending time with their children and four grandchildren.
